So, I just remembered that I can check Amy's DNA testing results online. Well, it turns out the estimated turn around for the test is 8-10 weeks. I can check the status of the test online. For example, I know that this morning, they successfully removed her dna from the blood same in order to start the test.
In other words, we still have a wait ahead of us. But, it's good to know so we are not expecting it, know what I mean?
Just as an FYI...some of the wait times are 6-8 MONTHS...and cost over $2500. YIKES!!!! NOT covered by insurance! thankfully, hers is only $91.
